Hello all,

I've been a little behind in adding new work. But I bring some great news. To make up for my sluggishness, I have added five--that's right: FIVE--new pieces for your reading pleasure. This is some of my older work, from two or three years ago. I have added three poems and two pieces of flash fiction. I hope you enjoy them all.

Also, for those interested, I think I have settled on my idea for my thesis project for grad school. Look for a sample chapter in the form of a prologue within the next couple months. If all goes as planned, this book could be the first in a series.

So, I've started using DeviantArt. I like it for the networking, and I've finally decided to put up some of my own stuff. We'll see how it goes.

I guess since this is my first entry, I should give some background on myself. I'm about to graduate from a university in St. Louis for Creative Writing and am about to go into an MFA program in California in the fall. It's an exciting prospect for me. I write all kinds of stuff: poetry, short stories, screenplays, and comics. I'm finishing up a novella, and I'll be starting on a book-length project for my MFA thesis. Hopefully it's clear by now that writing is my passion.

I love collaboration, so send me a note if you're interested in putting something together. In the meantime, check out the sample my new short story, "Transit Authority." It's an absurdist piece in the vein of a modern re-telling of the Greek Underworld myth.
